Schrödinger’s Currency: The Two States
"What if two completely opposing states could coexist within a single symbol?" Inspired by the famous quantum physics paradox, 'Schrödinger’s Cat'—where life and death coexist until observed—this project explores the dual nature of currency. Currency is a vessel for two inseparable states: wealth and poverty. The places where currency accumulates and disperses are the very epicentres where power builds and scatters. Inspired by the interface of the iPhone Wallet, this project translates this volatile economic fluid into a graphic symbol and digital mockup, visualizing the invisible mechanics of wealth, poverty, and power that exist simultaneously within our digital wallets.
Unchanged Place
Architectural blueprints are a form of promise. Just as blueprint symbols created two centuries ago remain in use today, we can discover what truly stays unchanged through these technical drawings. While a building that begins with a single sign may morph in its physical design over time, the essence of the people who pass through it remains constant.
Nothing is Absolute.
This project is a design experiment exploring the boundary between "good" and "bad" typography layout, using a profound quote by Frida Kahlo: “Nothing is absolute. Everything changes, everything moves, everything revolves, everything flies and goes away.”
Perfect Circles
The project explores a unique editorial mapping system inspired by the library environment. Centered around the concept of a 'Perfect Circle,' this interactive leaflet archives and visualizes various perfect circular elements discovered throughout the library space.
