Perfect Circles
The project explores a unique editorial mapping system inspired by the library environment. Centered around the concept of a 'Perfect Circle,' this interactive leaflet archives and visualizes various perfect circular elements discovered throughout the library space.
Extending the publication into a multisensory experience, the visual narrative is paired with sentimental background music featuring water drop sounds—a sonic metaphor for expanding concentric circles. For the final video deliverable, a stop-motion animation was crafted, meticulously syncing tactile page transitions with custom sound effects to immerse the audience in a fluid, rhythmic reading experience.
To bring this abstract archiving to life, flat, two-dimensional circles were given physical depth and dimension. To evoke an organic, tactile sensibility, the solid geometric lines were reconstructed using clusters of microscopic dots, complemented by a typeface carrying a subtle ink texture.
